Treks.... i have been wanting to go for a trek for sometime now. I have been called to go for treks by my friends but everytime i turn it down or some other engagement comes up.
Finally last Friday (11th feb) i went along with my wife, brother,my colleague & his friends.
I am so glad that i went for the trek. One of the most memorable time of my life. Our trek route was from Sakleshpur to Subramanya.
We trekked along the rails which so far has been abandoned to the regular route. We decided to go on this trek as the route will soon be open to regular rail traffic. Believe me it was one long walk.

We left bangalore on friday & got back to bangalore on monday morning. Two days in the wilderness along with friends. It was just wonderful.

I would love to put down the whole experience in this blog but i know i will not be able to describe as well as how my brother has written about the same.
So i do the next best thing...

That Friday, the 13 of us boarded a bus and headed towards Sakleshpur

All you require are few essentials (food, sleeping bags..etc) and wonderful company.
Then you can set out with nothing but a backpack and a smile on your face.!!!
